Update: My Audition With an A-list Agency

Good morning my a-listers. I wanted to start off my morning by giving you an update on what is happening with my future audition. If you read my  previous post  then you would know that some frustration with the current state of my career has led me to audition for one of the top agencies in the world.  I have nothing to lose by going after large companies, so I might as well try. After all, I'm not getting any younger. I'm not going to name drop this agency because I don't want to jinx it or state anything too identifying on this blog. I will, however, share my process of the audition, and maybe if I get accepted I'll let you all know who I'm signing with. But that's all in the future. In the meantime, I need to focus on the audition ahead of me and what is at stake. Some quick background on this agency: it's one of the largest and most powerful agencies in the entire world. It's known for producing global stars from multiple different countries....
I'm getting older, wrinkly, and am constantly surrounded by children who have had more success that I probably ever will. My resume is shit and I'm not even a member of the SAG. Sigh . . . Oh how I hate getting older and seeing how little I've accomplished.

Random Rambles: Stuck in the World of the Z-list

Hello my a-listers. When I initially started this blog I intended for it to be a mix of both tips and tricks, as well as some documentation of what I'm doing out here in LA to try and further my career. Well, I haven't done any personal posts, so I figured that now is better than later. I'm going to apologize in advance since this post will be a bit of a rant and won't offer much insight to Los Angeles or the entertainment industry. To put it bluntly, I haven't been booking work at the rate I would have liked. I've been feeling stuck and in desperate need of a divine intervention to make things work out, but that won't happen. I can, however, fix it myself. My plan out here hasn't been working and I am desperate to switch it up, which is why I have decided to announce that I'll be auditioning for a new agency.
